Join Marvelous Spatuletail Tours on this Central American venture. The aim of the trip is to make a serious attempt to combine birding with archeology. This is the perfect trip to bring a non-birding spouse. Nevertheless, the birding will still be aimed to see all the endemics and specialties. To make it the most for both birders and nonbirding spouses, we have opted to use fine hotels close to the archeological sites, which themselves are excellent for birding. We will visit the most famed Mayan ruins such as Palenque and Tikal, and both birder and non-birders will be astonished by the feats of this lost advanced culture. The trip ends on lovely Caribbean Cozumel island where you may opt to stay for additional days of snorkeling and diving.
The trip will be supplemented with local archeology guides.
