Puerto Maldonado-Cuzco or Puno.

 INTRODUCTION:

This could certainly be an option to the quite expensive flights back to Cusco. An open jaw i.e. Lima-Cusco and Puerto Maldonado-Lima ticket is more expensive than a Lima-Cusco return, or you could use the Interoceanica Highway to get yourself to Puno (and Titicaca Grebe) birding on the way.

We have chosen to make this program example of only 2 days, guessing that you would have used our three day program to get to Puerto Maldonado in the first place,  but you could certainly add days if you wish, just add 50% of the cost per day to calculate the price.
