The main target of the day is the beautiful Diademed Sandpiper-plover.
For that, we will drive directly to the El Yeso area, just doing few ¿selected stops, especially for the endemic Crag Chilia. Around the El Yeso
lake, we will look for the DSP where a small population is breeding, and for others high-elevation species as Andean Goose, Crested and Torrent Duck, Andean Condor, Mountain Caracara, Grey-breasted Seedsnipe, White-sided
Hillstar, Rufous-banded Miner and the rare Creamy-rumped Miner, Scale-throated Earthcreeper, Black-fronted Ground-tyrant and Greater Yellow-finch.
On the way back, if time permit, we will do some stops to add some specialities if needed, as Moustached Turca, Dusky-tailed Canastero and Dusky Tapaculo.
